UW Hockey game

On Saturday we went to the UW women's hockey game. It was general admission so we were able to get a good seat right down by the ice.

One of the referees gave Jordan an official puck - he was very excited and held on to it for the entire game.
Maya was just excited to get a hot dog.

Before the game, Bucky skated over to say hi to the kids.

Here's another unique face by Maya.

Hot dog time - about a minute or two after I gave it to her, she had it half done. By the 5 minute mark, she ditched the bun and wolfed down the rest of the hot dog. And then she asked for another.

Poor Jordan - he has been battling a bad cold virus that has given him alot of ear pain, coughing and a runny nose. As we left the hockey game, I noticed his temp was pretty warm and he also complained that his eyes were hurting him. Turns out he ended up having a fever and also coming down with pinkeye in both eyes! So that kind of explains why he looks a little wiped out in the picture below. He spent a majority of the hockey game on my lap, which is very much unlike him.

Both kids loved the zamboni. Maya would wave at it every time it circled around.

Overall, the hockey experience was really fun! Unfortunately, the Badgers lost but they put up a good fight. The game only lasted about 90 minutes so it was a perfect length for the kids to get an introduction to hockey and to also chow down some hot dogs. : )
