Yuck

I'll get right to the point - during naptime yesterday, Maya smeared a whole jar of Vaseline on the general area of her head because she said her nose hurt.

When I first saw her, I didn't know what to say for the first 30 seconds because my brain broke.

Then I got on the computer to look up a solution to this problem. I was not comforted by the fact that every website I came across said "Vaseline is one of the hardest things to get out of hair".


There was one ingredient that was mentioned on many webpages - cornstarch. So here is a couple pictures of Maya looking like she is 101 years old.

After many many cycles of cornstarch/shampoo/rinse/shampoo/rinse/cornstarch/rinse, I was able to get out the major clumps, but I think it will take a couple days of this routine to

get rid of her extra greasy hair.
