Strawberry fields

Sunday morning we headed out to JenEhr farm, which is a great organic farm in Sun Prairie. I have wanted to pick strawberries with the kids for the past couple years, but this was the first year where our schedule actually permitted us to get out to the fields. I fondly remember going to pick strawberries with my mom when I was younger so I am very happy I have passed on that memory to my children.

We picked about a couple pounds worth of fruit and ate many many sun-ripened strawberries. The kids thought it was so funny that we could eat them right off the plant! What a great start to Father's Day!
