Mini-Marching

Today Jordan's preschool class held a Mini-March to help benefit one of their friends in another class who is affected by cystic fibrosis. The original plan was to have the kids do 20 laps around the parking lot but the rain forced them to hold the event inside. Maya and I were able to stop by to watch. Well, Maya didn't watch for very long. She joined right in! Jordan held her hand during the laps, it was very sweet.

For each lap the kids did something active, such has walking, skipping, jumping jacks, etc.

Jordan had some pretty fancy moves.

Afterwards the kids celebrated their 20 laps with cookies and a story.

This is Jordan and Parker W. They were born on the same day in the same hospital here in Madison!

Notice Maya has her shades back on.

Jordan had soccer this afternoon and his coach gave Maya and I an extra ball to play with on one of the open fields so I got some good pictures. She looked so cute tearing down the field in her spring dress!

It's hard to get pictures of Jordan while he's playing soccer because the field is surrounded by plexiglass and I have to keep track of Maya, but I hope to get some next week because Grandma Cindee and Papa Steve will be with me so maybe I can sneak in and get some good shots.

Finally, the kids really like hearing about and doing the poses I learn at yoga so tonight I was showing them the Tree pose. All the sudden, Jordan asked me if I wanted to see "Dandelion Yoga". So of course I got a video of it. : ) I think he learned it during movement class at preschool.
