We arrived at the Millers Thursday afternoon - those pictures will be coming soon. Nate and I took a run Friday morning - it was nice to have some alone time, even if we were panting the whole time! We spent the rest of the day outside - running around the yard, playing in the pool, changing wet clothes, playing in the pool again, changing wet clothes (you would think we'd put their swimsuits on, wouldn't you?) and finally changing into pajamas.

After being accidentally sprayed by the cold water coming out of the hose Jordan was playing with, Maya had enough of being wet. After Grandma Cindee wrapped her in the Cinderella towel, she cuddled up on Grandma's lap and relaxed for awhile. Very cute.
But then she got her second wind and second outfit on and went right back in the pool.
Maya's first taste of corn on the cob. She loved it! I am constantly amazed that she likes vegetables so much. Papa Steve was eating some raw cauliflower when we were sitting outside and she asked to try some. We gave her some and then she continued to eat it all weekend! Go Veggie Maya!
We did some sparklers, but then Uncle Eric drove to an undisclosed location to get the good stuff...
While we were waiting for it to get dark, Jordan wanted to play some t-ball. Here is Nate working on his stance with him.
Once Maya saw that Jordan was playing baseball, she had to be included! I got her a mini-Cinderella bat so now she can join in the game.
More sparklers. Maya was a little unsure of them at first but warmed up to them by the 3rd or 4th time around.
Jordan is a sparkler pro.
