In this entry I'm playing catch-up with some pictures from last week...bear with me here.
The picture above is Jordan with the Disney count-down chart I made him. Each Mickey head has a number on it...I think we started with 40 days. Each night he takes off a Mickey head until the later part of August, which is when we will be taking him to Walt Disney World for a week. Maya will be spending time with both sets of grandparents and sucking up all the attention she can get.
Last Thursday was my 30
th birthday and Nate brought me some balloons and the best cupcakes ever....they were from
Coldstone Creamery and had Cake Batter ice cream (my absolute favorite flavor), red velvet cake and lots of pink frosting. They were amazing and I think I could have eaten all 6!

So I realized that I never took Maya's 2 year old picture in June so here it is. She looks proud. : )
Maya was very excited one day that she had set up her "friends" (as she calls them) in a row and asked me to take a picture.
So of course Jordan wanted a picture with his "friends".
For my birthday, Nate got me a new telephoto lens for our camera so here are a couple test shots I took during the Farmer's Market. I think I'm really going to be able to get some good pictures from far away...it will especially come in handy when the kids are tired of their mom being all up in their face with the camera.
