Spooky bike ride

There is a house in our neighborhood that does a great job decorating for Halloween. Ever since Jordan was a little toddler, he has really enjoyed driving by this particular house and looking at all the decorations. He calls it the spooky house. This year he proposed that he ride his bike down to it so we could all get a closer look at it. Tonight was the first night that we actually had time after dinner so we all got bundled up and got ready to ride. Jordan was pretty excited that he got to wear my reflective running gear and Maya brought her Princess flashlight to help light the way. It turned out to be a really enjoyable ride. The house is about a quarter of a mile away, with some hills so there was a little huffing and puffing when Jordan had to ride up the inclines. When we got home, he said his knees hurt from all the hills, so he decided to run in place to help "stretch them out". He was really excited to have done his first bike ride at night and both kids agreed the house was really spooky. : )
