Maya and her buddy

This post is mostly for me so I remember this funny Maya moment. The little thing she is holding in her hand is some weird pencil topper thing that my mom found in a cereal box a couple years ago. She gave it to Maya when she was a little baby - she used to gnaw on its hair and hold it in her little chubby hand. So this friend of hers has stuck around for the past couple years and what is so funny to me is that Maya calls it her "buddy". Her buddy has to come with us when we bring Jordan to preschool, when we go to the store and he also has to sleep in her bed. It is not uncommon for us to hear her yell "Where is my buddy?!?!" thirty minutes after we put her to bed. Maybe we'll keep this little dude around so in 15 years, we'll offer for her to hang out with her buddy instead of any other guy. : )
