We woke up early Friday morning to get ready to go to EPCOT. Since we were on vacation, Jordan got to eat breakfast in front of the TV - he thought that was so cool. Notice Mickey joined in the eating festivities.

Here is Jordan and Nate in front of The Seas. Disney just re themed this ride with the characters from Finding Nemo so we were all excited to check it out. When my family visited EPCOT when I was younger, we often had our picture taken in front of this attraction, so I thought it was pretty cool that now I am taking a picture of my family in the same place. : )

We actually did find Nemo! After the ride, there were many different rooms with little aquariums and other learning and sensory experiences. This particular tank had clown fish that looked just like Nemo and his dad Marlin.

EPCOT has some areas with little fountains that kids can splash around in. We had only been at the park for about an hour and we were already sweaty, so Jordan was very happy to play around in the water.

Test Track was definitely on Jordan's short list of the best rides. The concept of the ride is to demonstrate how General Motors tests their cars so you get to ride in an actual car while they send you through a series of tests (anti-lock brakes, hot/cold exposure, hill climbs). The best part is at the end where the final test is how your car handles fast speeds - we hit 65 mph on the outside track. I think we ended up riding this one at least 4 times! During one of the times, a storm was blowing into the area and since part of this ride is outside, they had to suspend the loading process. They weren't sure when they would start the ride again, so we gave Jordan the choice of getting out of line and going to a different ride. But he said he wanted to wait so we did- for about an hour! He was such a good boy, he never complained once. The theming for the line couldn't have been better for Jordan because it was all about tests they do on cars. He spent the whole time studying it and asking Nate questions.

Chip and Dale were the first characters Jordan got to meet! He got their autographs and after we had taken our turn, he just stood back and watched them greet other kids for awhile. This was one of the moments I wish I could bottle up - he was just so in awe that Chip and Dale were actually right there in front of him. So sweet.

Although the picture makes it look kind of gloomy, our day at EPCOT was actually very nice. It was super hot, but the rain only lasted for a little bit.

We ate dinner at the Coral Reef, which is a very nice restaurant inside The Seas pavilion. The entire front wall of the restaurant is actually a floor to ceiling aquarium and we ended up getting a table right next to the glass wall! It was perfect! Jordan spent his whole time watching all the fish swim around. The best part was when a huge sea turtle decided to settle down and take a nap right in front of us. Nate and I had some wonderful salmon and for dessert I had some almond gelato that I wish I had next to me right now. Jordan also got this funny plastic dolphin on his milk cup that he became very attached to.

Here we are on our way out of EPCOT. It was a great day and Jordan walked the whole time! It is a huge park so we were impressed with his little legs.

When we arrived back at our room, our maid (or "mousekeeping" as they call it at Disney) designed a little Mickey head out of washcloths for Jordan. He though it was awesome and kept it on the nightstand next to his bed for the whole trip. : )
I can't get enough of his sweet little face!
