A beautiful summer day!

Last Saturday we spent the entire day playing outside at my parents house. One of Jordan's favorite things to do is to bring out all his vehicles/outside toys and wash them off with the hose. As you can see from this picture, Maya was not happy to be the receipient of some spray off the hose.

Maya was able to master the bubble gun during this visit and was proud to show off her skills.

Jordan was a big help in getting dinner ready. After Grandma Lu cut up all the veggies, he broke them into pieces to put in the bag. He just LOVES to help...

I really like this picture. I love his eyes.

For dessert we had mini vanilla ice cream cones. This was the first time Maya had ever had ice cream in a cone. She thought it was okay. She ended up eating all the ice cream off the top and then handing the soggy cone to one of us. Jordan, however, packed away 3 cones in one sitting.

Jordan thought it was funny to give the big guys (my Dad and Nate) little mini cones.

And Maya just chowed down on the watermelon. For someone who is only 24 lbs, she sure finds room to store all her food.

Jordan re-discovered the doctors kit my mom has at her house so he spent some time Saturday evening giving us all exams. I found it particularly funny that he was checking out the eye doctor's eyes. : )
