Madison Mallards

This first picture doesn't go with the others in the post but I had to include it. Yesterday the kids were coloring and after awhile I noticed Maya had purple marker on her face. I said "Maya, did you eat the marker?" Well, Jordan took this quite literally and had Maya open her mouth real wide so he could look for the purple marker. He was very concerned but didn't find anything. Finally, he decided that she didn't eat the purple marker because "that would be silly".

Tuesday night we took Jordan to a Madison Mallards game. The Mallards are a minor-league team that plays at a field on the north side of Madison. After we got settled in our seats, we let Jordan pick out something to eat - he passed up all the good stuff like hot dogs and nachos for a slice of cheese pizza!

I don't think we could have asked for better weather. It was initially supposed to rain during gametime, but instead we got sunshine and very comfortable temperatures .

We took many treat breaks....here Jordan is on one of our quests to find a soft pretzel.

Right at the end of the game, Nate caught a foul ball for Jordan. He was so excited (Jordan, not Nate!). It was a perfect souviner....and free too!

To end, I wanted to post a video of Jordan right after he sucked down most of the chocolate malt we got to "share" between the 3 of us. Craziness!
