One of Jordan's favorite books from the past year is called "Old New Red Blue". Of course, it is about the movie Cars. The story is in a very child-friendly rhyming format so over time Jordan has memorized it. Here is his reading of the fine masterpiece....

A visit with the Butzines
On Friday we spent the day with one of my best friends from college, Michelle and her adorable children, Ella and Anderson. The weather was so beautiful that we did all our playing outside in their backyard. Jordan and Maya aren't used to having swings, sports, and all sorts of outside fun so close to them so they were very happy all morning. The kids played together so nicely - we had a 2 year old (Maya), a 3 year old (Anderson), a 4 year old (Jordan) and a 5 year old (Ella) and last but not least, two 29 year olds!

We exchanged our very belated Christmas gifts with each other and Jordan was very excited about the Hot Wheels racing set we got for Anderson. They had fun crashing cars together.
Maya on the big girl swing.
The kids chasing bubbles that Michelle was churning out.
Ella and the story she wrote, complete with pictures. Did I mention she is only 5 years old!?!
The crew right before we had lunch. What a nice day! Thanks Michelle!
