Jordan's first day of T-Ball

Wednesday was Jordan's first day of beginning T-ball. It was the hottest day of the week - 90 degrees and so humid. But regardless of the heat, Jordan had a great time. He worked on his catching, hitting and fielding skills while Maya and I cheered him on. When it was time to practice hitting off the tee, the kids were divided into groups of 4 - one would hit while the others would field the ball. Poor Jordan was the only one in his group participating - the other kids just took a seat on the ground. He even fielded his own ball after he hit it! But by far Jordan's favorite activity was running the bases at the end because he pretended he was Lightening McQueen!

We were all very very sweaty by the time he was done - Jordan kept telling me, "Mom, my head's wet!" Here is a couple pictures of the baseball player and his biggest fan.
