After lunch on Friday, I got the kids packed up and ready to go to
Shawano. Here they are with their backpacks on, ready to head out.
As soon as we got to
Shawano, we set up lawn chairs in the back yard to relax for awhile. Jordan was very very excited to find out that Grandma Cindee had found all of Nate and Eric's old
legos. Below Jordan is reviewing one of the instruction sets with Uncle Eric.
Even though this picture isn't the greatest for focus, I just love it because it captures Maya's energy. She ran and ran and ran in the backyard all Friday night.
But Maya did take a break from running to talk to Eric's girlfriend Amanda. She calls her "Manda". : )
Grandma Zoe and Grandpa Paul joined us for dinner. Maya found a new buddy in Paul to play ball with.
For the longest time, Maya would not touch this ball. She would attempt to pick it up, but as soon as she felt the funny rubbery tentacle
thingys, she'd jump back like it stung her. But for some reason, she was able to get over this fear and the weird
smushy ball became her best friend on Friday night. She seriously played with it for about an hour.
