Saturday night my entire family attended the wedding reception of my cousin Kent and his bride Kari. I always enjoy weddings (and wedding cake), but it was especially nice to have a lot of my extended family gathered in one room. I don't get to see my cousins from that side of the family too often but when I finally am able to be around them, I always wonder how we could orchestrate more family gathering! They are a fun group. And as always, it was great to see my grandparents. The family was also introduced to my brother Matt's girlfriend, Ashley. She was very nice and I give her credit for coming to the wedding - I'd be so nervous if I were her! Not that we are a scary bunch or anything but meeting your boyfriend's family for the first time can be a little nerve-wrecking! I don't even remember the first time I met Steve and Cindee!?Nate and I didn't make it very long at the reception - our wild rummage sale wore us out! But overall we had a very nice child-free night! Thanks to the Millers again for babysitting!
