We started our day by heading out to the Farmer's Market. It was a sunny but pretty chilly morning - when we left the house, the temp was still in the 40's! Isn't it the middle of May? Where's the warm weather? So once we got down to the Square, Jordan requested some cheese bread so the below picture is of Maya chowing down. This picture is showcasing a skill that we are working on with her...taking small bites. She tends to get quite excited about her food and shoves it all in her mouth at once and then asks for more. That is exactly what happened right before I took the picture - Nate had to fish a huge ball of semi-chewed up bread out of her mouth. She had so much in there that she couldn't get her mouth shut. And she was asking for more!

The kids were playing a game that consisted of rolling down the small hill on the Capitol Lawn. Maya couldn't get herself going too fast so she kind of looked like a turtle that got stuck on its back. Jordan had pretty good rolling skills, though!

Uncle Eric surprised the kids and joined us for a while. Congrats are in order for him and his girlfriend Amanda - they just finished their 3rd year of pharmacy school and now will just have a year of clinical rotations before they graduate! When it was time to finish our walk around the Square, Jordan chose to walk with Eric and hold his hand instead of riding in the stroller. Maya was very jealous.

Here is Maya checking out a huge tree limb that was laying on the lawn. Doesn't she look like a little Ewok emerging from the forest? Okay, maybe not, but she is as cute as an Ewok!

We didn't linger as long as we usually do at the Farmer's Market due to the cold temperature, but besides the cheese bread, we picked up some rhubarb and some homemade pasta. Not sure what I'm going to do with the rhubarb yet, but I love any dessert involving it so I'll have to figure out something good to make.

While I was making supper tonight, I turned around and this is what I saw. ???
We have our condo up for sale and someone is coming to look at it tomorrow, so we have alot of cleaning to do in the morning. I really love our condo but we are really starting to out-grow it. We'd like to stay in the Middleton area and find somewhere with at least one more bedroom and a nice yard. It's been hard not having a space where the kids can play outside. But I'm trying not to get ahead of myself and look at houses too much because who knows how long it's going to take us to sell our condo. Hopefully things go well tomorrow!
Nice photos. It was really cold in Shawano too!! I was very glad to hear that you are feeling better Tina. Hope the house showing goes well today. ~*~Cindee
