Saturday morning we headed off to the Farmer's Market. We were able to meet up with Mara and Mike for a little bit - Jordan held Mara's hand as we made our loop. Soon everyone was starting to get hungry, so the boys headed off to find a cookie while Mara, Maya and I set up our blanket on the Capitol lawn.
Maya found a leafy branch that she tried to tickle Mara with. She then grew tired of that when I brought out the kettle corn I had just purchased. Maya will stop nearly anything for food.
The kids entertained themselves by chasing each other around a huge tree.
The kids, especially Jordan, love going in the Capitol. He chose to go up to the 4
th floor, which turned out to be
alot of hallways and offices - I heard Jordan tell Mike "I think we're in a maze!". After a few more elevator rides and some step climbing, we said goodbye to Mike and Mara and headed home for some lunch.
